Havant Borough Council want to hear your views.

Residents from across the borough are being invited to join Havant’s Citizens’ Panel and make a vital contribution to how the Council develops and runs its services.

The Citizen’s Panel has been running in the borough since 1999 and is one of the major ways Havant Borough Council learns the views of local people. Panel members have answered questions on the environment, crime and disorder, parks and open spaces, street cleansing and beach safety. New members are being recruited to ensure that the Panel is representative of the type of people living in the borough. Once recruited, members will be sent questionnaires at least three times a year on local issues, as well as being invited to take part in focus groups and special one-off consultations. Leader of the Council, Councillor David Gillett said “This is a great opportunity for residents to have their say from the comfort of their own home - all views expressed will be confidential and used to help make future decisions on council services”. If you wish to apply to become a member of the Citizens’ Panel you can complete the on-line questionnaire here>> For more information on the Citizens’ Panel use this link>>
